WALLER COUNTY CHIEF DEPUTY HOSPITALIZED
The Waller County Sheriff’s Office provided an update on Chief Deputy Bobby Schields, who was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident.
Schields was participating in a Charlie Kirk memorial ride when he was involved in a crash on Sunday. The crash happened at the intersection of FM 2920 and Hegar Road.
In a post on their Facebook Page, the Sheriff’s Office said that Schields never lost consciousness, and early assessments show no brain or skull injuries.
The post added that he does have fractures to his ribs, shoulder blade, cheekbone, and an area near his temple, but he is in good spirits and being well cared for.
The Sheriff’s Office said that they are thankful his injuries were not more serious, and that they appreciate every prayer and message of support.
They close the post by asking the public to keep Chief Deputy Schields and his family in your thoughts.
