BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO TWO CALLS ON WEDNESDAY
The Brenham Fire Department responded to a pair of calls on Wednesday.
The first call came in just before 8am. Firefighters were dispatched to the 1900 Block of Strangmeier Road for a report of a transportation incident.
BFD personnel arrived at the scene to find a single vehicle accident.
Crew members helped the Washington County EMS with patient care, and later returned to service.
Then, just before 4:30pm, BFD units were dispatched to the 1700 Block of Highway 105 for a report of hazmat.
Firefighters found about three gallons of gas on the ground and used topsall on the spill.
After cleaning the area, BFD personnel returned to service.
