SEVEN SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
Seven people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st and 335th District Court, before Judge Carson Campbell.
43-year-old Daniel Keith Aronson of Brenham, sentenced to 5 years in prison for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, a second degree felony.
21-year-old Christopher Joshua Rivera of Brenham, sentenced to 4 years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4-200 Grams, a second degree felony.
23-year-old Jokorey Rashion Norman of Point Blank, sentenced to 5 years in prison for Assault of a Family/Household Member with Previous Conviction, a third degree felony. Norman was also sentenced to 12 months in state jail for Publishing/Threatening to Publish Intimate Visual Material, a state jail felony.
62-year-old Mary Lee Garrett of Brenham, sentenced to 5 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Injury to an Elderly Individual, a third degree felony. Garrett was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, perform 100 hours of community service and not work as a caretaker.
42-year-old Anthony Gonzales of Giddings, sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Assault of a Family Member Impeding Breath/Circulation, a third degree felony. Gonzales was also fined $500, ordered to pay a $100 family violence fee to a shelter and must perform 100 hours of community service.
45-year-old Renee Krueger Martinez of Brenham, sentenced to 4 years’ probation for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More, a third degree felony. Martinez must also pay a $500 fine, perform 150 hours of community service and have an interlock device on her vehicle for one year.
43-year-old Francisco Javier Pineda Salgado of Brenham, sentenced to 365 days in the Washington County Jail on two counts of Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury, both Class A misdemeanors. Salgado also has an immigration hold.
