BRENHAM FIRE DEPT. CALLED OUT THURSDAY FOR BURNT FOOD, FALSE ALARM
The Brenham Fire Department went out to two calls on Thursday.
Just after 10:45 a.m., units responded to a fire alarm at the Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Performing Arts Center, 600 Blinn Boulevard. The alarm was determined to be false, so they returned to the station.
Approaching 9:30 p.m., BFD members received a report of a possible structure fire at a residence in the 300 block of Stone Hill Drive. Firefighters found a two-story building with nothing showing from the exterior. They later discovered burnt food in the oven.
