AUSTIN CO. COW-CALF CLINIC & TRADE SHOW MARCH 20
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Austin County is making preparations for its Cow-Calf Clinic and Trade Show.
The event is set for Friday, March 20th at the Four County Auction Center near Industry, 11942 Highway 159 West. Registration is at 7:30 a.m., and the program begins at 9 a.m.
Attendees will hear from several animal and livestock experts as they discuss topics concerning reproduction and breeding, including the importance of vaccinations and nutrition, breeding soundness exams, and how to control internal and external parasites. They will also provide an update on New World Screwworm.
Registration is $45 per person and includes lunch and refreshments before and after the clinic. Door prizes will be given away.
The event is sponsored by the Austin County Beef and Forage Committee.
