RODEO GIDDINGS RETURNS APRIL 16-18

  

The Lee County Sheriff’s Posse is inviting the public to next week’s return of Rodeo Giddings.

Rodeo Giddings is being held at the Sheriff’s Posse Covered Arena at 2591 Highway 290 West from Thursday, April 16th thru Saturday, 18th.

Thursday is Slack Day with free admission beginning at 6:30pm. Then, on Friday and Saturday, tickets at the gate are $20 for adults, $5 for kids 7-14 years old, and kids six years and under get in for free.

Rodeo Giddings will feature riders from the Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association or CPRA.

The announcer for the event is Creed Roberts, while Robby “Backflip” Hodges will serve as the barrel man.

For the kids, there is the mutton bustin’ event. Mutton bustin’ is open to children ages 4-7, and they must weigh under 50 pounds.

New this year, for kids that are six and under, are the stick horse races.
