The event on April 25th at Rockin’ Star Ranch, hosted by the Washington-on-the-Brazos Historical Foundation, brought over 300 supporters together and raised more than $200,000 for the historic site.  State and community leaders from across the region gathered to honor Texas’ past, celebrate the 190th anniversary of Texas independence, and invest into the future of one of the state’s most significant historic landmarks.

Co-chairs were Samantha and Travis Medve with a theme of “Written in the Stars, The Future of Texas.  Honoring Our Past and Illuminating Our Future”.  Guests enjoyed live music by Dale Watson, locally-inspired food, and a Texas Treasures auction with historical elements that paid tribute to the spirit of 1836.
