BRENHAM & BLINN POLICE ARREST TWO IN NARCOTICS OPERATION

  

A multi-agency search warrant operation in Brenham led to the arrest of two Houston-area men on drug charges.

At 9:30 a.m. Monday, the Brenham Police Department’s Drug Investigations & Criminal Gang Enforcement (DICE) Unit, in coordination with the Blinn College Police Department, executed a narcotics-related search warrant in the 900 block of West Fifth Street.

DICE investigators identified 19-year-old Logan Cooper of Missouri City and 19-year-old Ladesmond Rhone of Rosharon as individuals allegedly involved in the distribution of illegal narcotics within Brenham and surrounding areas. 

While executing the search warrant, police say they located suspected narcotics at the location.

Police obtained arrest warrants prior to the operation for both individuals for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 4-400 Grams, a first degree felony. 

One of the suspects was taken into custody on location without incident, while the other was located and apprehended shortly after.

In addition to the outstanding warrant, Cooper was charged with an additional count of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 4-400 Grams, as well as Possession of Marijuana 2-4oz., a Class A misdemeanor, and Criminal Trespass, a Class B misdemeanor.

Both individuals were transported to the Washington County Jail.
