PHOTOS – OVERNIGHT STORM DAMAGE IN WASHINGTON CO.

Washington County residents woke up today (Wednesday) to find the aftermath from a storm that rolled through the area overnight.

Several downed trees and tree limbs were spotted, and damage was reported at some homes and businesses. Some residents also reported losing power.

Below are photos from some of the damage seen as a result of the storm. Anyone with photos they would like to share is invited to send them to news@kwhi.com.

Jocelyn Gilchrist says the biggest limb lost from this large tree was about two feet in diameter. She says a family of whistling ducks, a pair with a little duckling, had been nesting in the tree's cavity and waddled away. An egg was found smashed at the base, but there was no baby inside yet.
