BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE PRESENTING ‘THE TAMING OF THE SHREW’ TO SUPPORT TRIP TO NATIONALS

Brenham High School Theatre will host a special performance this week to help raise funds for students as they prepare for nationals.

The Theatre Department will present William Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew” on Friday at 7 p.m. in the Black Box at Brenham High School.

“The Taming of the Shrew” explores the courtship of Petruchio and Katherina, a strong-willed woman who is “tamed” by Petruchio into obedience as his wife.

Brenham High School Theatre Director Kara Freeman says proceeds will support students in their upcoming trip to Indiana University Bloomington for the 85th International Thespian Festival, June 21-26.
