CREWS TO CLOSE PART OF FM 332 FRIDAY FOR EMERGENCY ROAD REPAIRS

  

A portion of FM 332 in Washington County will be temporarily closed starting tomorrow (Friday) morning, as crews make emergency repairs.

Starting at 8 a.m., FM 332 will be closed from Baranowski Road to Woodlands Road.  The closure is necessary for repairs to the damaged roadway.

According to Bob Colwell, Public Information Officer for TxDOT’s Bryan District, the roadway collapsed after AMP Intrastate Pipeline out of Dallas bored under it.  He said the pipeline company will have to put in new cement to get everything leveled off.

The closure is expected to be completed by late afternoon on Friday.  Drivers in the area should follow the signed detour.
