BRENHAM ECLC DEDICATING LIBRARY MONDAY AFTERNOON

Brenham ISD invites the community out this (Monday) afternoon to celebrate the grand opening of the Deb Tackett Memorial Library at the Brenham Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC).
The grand opening will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. at the ECLC campus on 304 Kerr Street.
The school district says the project was made possible by a donation from the Andras family in memory of Deb Tackett, who served for many years as the librarian at Brenham Middle School.
School officials also thank the Brenham ISD maintenance department for its hard work and dedication.

????? Yes, I am confused as to how the School District could erect a library at this historical site in honor of someone who had no affiliation or affiliations at this “HISTORICAL ” site. Usually a building or site is named in honor of someone who had some type of affiliation with the location and of course this site is not the appropriate site!
