TWO WOMEN ARRESTED MONDAY ON DRUG CHARGES

  

Two women were arrested Monday evening on drug charges.

Brenham Police report that Monday at 7:35 PM, Officers initiated a traffic stop near the 900 block of Highway 290 West. An investigation was conducted and two occupants were taken into custody.  Ashley Story, 37 of Cedar Hill, was charged with Possession of Marijuana less than 2 OZ and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Carolyn Hernandez, 41 of Magnolia, was charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
