WASHINGTON CO. APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD APPROVES 2022-23 BUDGET

  

The Washington County Appraisal District Board of Directors voted to adopt the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year at its meeting Tuesday.

After no property owners came for a public hearing, the board approved the budget for the fiscal year beginning September 1^st and ending August 31, 2023.  The budget amounts to $1,216,200, an increase of $237,020 from the current budget.

Included in the new budget is $140,200 for debt service, an additional $76,220 for professional and contracted services, $13,500 more for supplies and materials, an extra $5,400 in personnel expenses and $1,700 more in other operating costs.
