The Brenham Police Department’s command staff attended an annual leadership retreat on June 23rd and 24th.
Retired police chiefs Mike Gentry and Marlin Price of the Texas Police Chiefs Association taught the class “Managing Patrol Operations.”
In the two-day course, staff learned how to effectively deploy police resources where and when they are most needed organizationally and by shift. They also learned leadership principles in a police organization with ways to lead and motivate employees.
