BRENHAM EDF STARTING YEARLY ELECTION PROCESS FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

  

The Brenham Economic Development Foundation (EDF) is distributing ballots to EDF members for its yearly board of directors election.

Five directors will be elected to serve a three-year term, from December 2023 to 2026.

Three current directors are eligible to serve another term.  They are Jimmy Lawhorn of Blue Bell Creameries, Melissa McCune of Baylor Scott & White, and Amanda Stolz of Seidel Schroeder.

Four additional nominees appear on the ballot: Duane Burnett of H-E-B, Carl Prihoda of Citizens State Bank, Brice Milliorn of Edward Jones, and Cindy Smith of Oldham Goodwin.

Results will be announced after the conclusion of the election on November 15th.

After December 1st, with the five newly elected directors, the remainder of the board will include Blake Brannon of Brannon Industrial Group, Chad Gerke of The Gerke Law Firm, Trey Hardy of Germania Insurance, Randy Hodde of Hodde Real Estate, Clayton Collier of Collier Construction, Chris Cangelosi of First American Title, Tee Dippel of Brenham National Bank, Darren Huckert of Garza EMC, Kyle Merten of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, Jim Kolkhorst of Kolkhorst Foods, and Randy Weidemann of Van Dyke Rankin.

Mike Hopkins, Jr. of Mike Hopkins Distributing and Barney Loesch of Thrivent Financial will retire from the EDF board after each having served nine years.
