CUBS DROP ROAD GAME TO MONTGOMERY 70-57

The Brenham Cubs dropped a road game to Montgomery last (Tuesday) night.

Elijah Ferguson led Brenham with 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Diego Estrada added 15 points.

The loss drops the Cubs to 21-8 overall and 4-6 in district.

District 21-5A Scores:

Lake Creek 62 Magnolia 62-39.

Magnolia West upset College Station 50-49.

A&M Consolidated crushed Rudder 71-48.

Playoff update: A&M Consolidated and Lake Creek remain tied for first.  College Station is in third.  Montgomery is in fourth.  Brenham and Rudder remain tied for fifth. They are one game behind Montgomery for the last playoff spot with four games remaining.  The Cubs will host Magnolia West this Friday at 6:30pm at the Brenham High School Gym.  KWHI will broadcast the game live beginning with the pregame at 6:15pm.
