UIL ANNOUNCES THE REALIGNMENTS FOR THE 2024-2026 SCHOOL YEARS

The University Interscholastic League has released the District Realignments for High School sports. The new alignments take effect in the fall of this year.

  1. Brenham new football district opponents. Great, all are over 2/12 hour drive except Rudder.

  2. Ok…so now Districts are put together by participation in each sport and not by school enrollment? Each sport playing a different group of schools in district is ridiculous. The travel distances are outrageous. Its getting like the NCAA and football conferences….bad move for the UIL…real bad move
