KRUSE VILLAGE TO HOST “EMPOWERED AGING” EVENT ON TUESDAY

Kruse Village is inviting the public to attend an upcoming event entitled “Empowered Aging: Home Care vs. Home Health vs. Hospice.”

The event is being held this Tuesday from 2-4pm in the Kruse Village Independent Living Activity Room located at 1700 East Stone Street in Brenham.

Residents, family members, caregivers, and anyone seeking a better understanding of health care services available are invited to attend.

The program begins at 2pm where there will be a resource fair with representatives from local home care, home health, and hospice agencies. Participants can connect directly with agencies to discuss solutions and gather helpful resources.

That is going to be followed by a quick overview at 2:30pm on understanding the different levels of care.

The final phase of the event begins at 3pm with a panel discussion and informative presentations from leading care providers. The providers are going to discuss when and why each of their services are appropriate and where they fit into the care journey.

After the discussion, the audience can also participate in a question-and-answer session with the panel members.

For more information about the “Empowered Aging” event, contact Amy Supak at 979-830-1996 extension 2022, or send an e-mail to asupak@krusevillage.com.
