BEAUMONT WOMAN ARRESTED ON MARIJUANA CHARGES

  

A Beaumont woman was arrested Wednesday on marijuana charges.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday night at 10:45, Sergeant Tiffany Anderson conducted a traffic stop in the 2300 blook of South Day Street for a defective head light. Marijuana was found in the vehicle during a probable cause search. A passenger, Princess Jolynn Chatman, 18 of Beaumont, was placed under arrest after it was discovered she attempted to conceal the marijuana on her person. Chatman was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail where she was booked for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 oz. The driver was released and issued warning.
