BRENHAM POLICE REPORT WEEKEND ARRESTS FOR TERRORISTIC THREAT, INTOXICATION

  

The Brenham Police Department reported five arrests between midday Saturday and Sunday evening.

Sian Pu

Shortly after 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Corporal Alex Saenz responded to the 2400 block of Stone Hollow Drive in reference to a threat.  Upon arrival, investigation revealed that the suspect, 39-year-old Sian Pu of Baltimore, allegedly threatened to cause serious bodily injury.  He was placed into custody for Terroristic Threat and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.

Approaching 10:45 p.m., Sergeant Tiffany Anderson observed a vehicle in the 2100 block of South Day Street with no lights on when required.  The driver was identified as 17-year-old Diamond Simmons of Brenham.  A probable cause search was conducted, due to the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.  Police reported locating evidence, so Simmons was placed into custody for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Derrick Robby Slack

At 1 a.m. Sunday, Officer Ramon Torres conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of South Market Street.  Upon investigation, police determined that 43-year-old Derrick Robby Slack of Brenham was driving while intoxicated.  Slack was transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More.

Nearing 1:15 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Highway 290 East in reference to an intoxicated person.  Upon arrival, officers on scene determined that 45-year-old Billy Raye Griffin of Brenham was highly intoxicated and posed a danger to himself or others.  Griffin was placed into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.

Crystal Rochell Reliford

Close to 7 p.m., Corporal Tina Bruno responded to a reckless driving call in the area of North Chappell Hill Street and East Academy Street.  Investigation revealed that a verbal altercation took place, not reckless driving as reported.  The driver, 36-year-old Crystal Reliford of Brenham, was placed under arrest for eight outstanding municipal warrants.  Reliford was transported to the Washington County Jail, where she was booked in on five warrants for No Driver’s License, two for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility and one for Display/Expired Registration.
