FOUR SENTENCED IN 21ST DISTRICT COURT
Four people pleaded guilty and were sentenced this week in 21st District Court before Judge John Winkelmann.
25-year-old William Joel Gardner of Brenham, sentenced to 5 years in prison for Attempted Sexual Assault, a third degree felony. Gardner must also register and abide by sex offender conditions for 10 years.
41-year-old Florence Denise Jackson of Brenham, sentenced to 3 years’ probation for Theft of Property Less Than $2,500 with Two or More Previous Convictions, a state jail felony. Jackson must also pay a $500 fine, perform 50 hours of community service and maintain no contact with Academy Sports + Outdoors.
43-year-old Lamonta Charmene Kesee of Chappell Hill, sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony. Kesee must also pay a $500 fine, perform 100 hours of community service and complete a drug offender education program.
24-year-old Jawuan Edward Johns of Pflugerville, sentenced to 2 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Attempted Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a Class A misdemeanor. Johns was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, perform 100 hours of community service and complete a drug offender education program.
