Brenham police arrested two people on Thursday on charges including assault and criminal trespass.
Close to 4 p.m., Officer Mateo Guillen was dispatched to the 200 block of Riggs Street for suspicious activity. Sergeant Tiffany Anderson later arrived on scene to assist. Police made contact with 46-year-old Antoine Nichelson of Brenham, who showed to have an active warrant out of County Court at Law for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member. Nichelson was placed into custody and booked in at the Washington County Jail for his warrant.
At 7:15 p.m., Officer Brayten Rolling responded to a call for service in reference to criminal trespassing in the 900 block of Hasskarl Drive.
