ABE PACE IS THE THIRD CANDIDATE IN FAYETTE COUNTY PRECINCT TWO COMMISSIONERS RACE

  

A third candidate has filed in the Fayette County Precinct Two Commissioner’s Race.

Abe Pace of Ledbetter is the latest to file the paperwork to run for the position in the March 3 Republic Primary Election.

Pace is a member of the Ledbetter Volunteer Fire Department, and owns an agriculture services business.

According to the Fayette County Record, Pace ran for the same office as a Democrat in 2018 and lost.

He joins the incumbent, Clint Sternadel, and Chad Tiemann in the race.

Sternadel was appointed to the Precinct Two Commissioner’s position back in May following the retirement of his father, Luke Sternadel.

Tiemann is a Road & Bridge Department employee in Fayette County Precinct 1.

The deadline to run for a place on the ballot is this Monday, December 8.
