PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO DISCUSS VARIETY OF ZONING MAP CHANGES

  

 The City of Brenham planning and Zoning Commission will meet on Monday at 5:15pm to discuss an amendment to the Official Zoning Map of the Code of Ordinances to change the zoning of a tract of land located on Old Mill Creek Road and S. Saeger Street, changing it from a Single Family Residential Use to a Mixed Residential Use.

This options has the commission making the recommendation and the City Council will discuss and possibly act on the request.

The Commission will also hold a Public Hearing on a recommendation of an Amendment to the Official Zoning Map of the Code of Ordinances to allow a multifamily development on property located on Old Mill Creek Road and S. Saeger Street.

Also on the agenda is the discussion and possible action concerning a Preliminary Plat for the Crosswinds Subdivision on Fritz Road in the City of Brenham’s Extra Territorial Jurisdiction.

A Public Hearing will be held concerning an Amendment to the Zoning Map to change the zoning of certain tracts of land on S. Market Street from Commercial Research and Technology to a Local Business/Residential Mixed Use.

A Public Hearing to amend the Official Zoning Map on various tracts of land on S. Market Street and S. Baylor Street between E. Mansfield St. and E Stone Street from Local Business/Residential Mixed to Commercial Research and Technology. The City Council will discuss and possibly act at a later date.

A Public Hearing on an amendment to change the zoning of a land address at 1600 S Market, 1608 S Market, and 1702 S. Market, changing them from a Local Business/Residential Mixed Use, to a Commercial Research and Technology District.

The Commission will meet on the Second Floor City Hall Council Chambers at 200 W Vulcan.
