GIDDINGS MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING $36,000 WORTH OF COPPER TUBING

  

Washington County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 35-year old Giddings man in connection with the theft of $36,000 worth of copper tubing.

Jose Guadalupe Morales was arrested on Thursday.  Deputies were investigating an incident in which  the copper tubing was stolen from a location on Old Navasota Road on January 6Sgts. Mark Whidden and Clay Bosse acted on a warrant.  Morales is in the Washington County Jail under a $5000 bond.
