The Brenham Cubette Basketball Team will host the Huntsville Lady Hornets in a district game on Tuesday, January 6. The opening tip-off is scheduled for 6:30pm at the Brenham High School Gym.

The Blinn Buccaneer Men's Basketball Team will travel to Corsicana on Wednesday, January 7, for a Region XIV Conference game against the Navarro Bulldogs. The game is scheduled for a 7pm start time.
The Fortnightly Club of Brenham will hold a General Meeting on January 8, 2026, at the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library at noon. The program on the Little Free Libraries will be presented by Suzy Hankins. The Home Life Department will serve as hostesses for the meeting.
Unless otherwise posted; American Legion Quade-Werchan Post #338 and Auxiliary meets on the first Thursday of each month at their hall in Round Top. Meetings begin promptly at 6:30 PM
The Brenham Cub Soccer Team are hosting the annual Brenham Tournament from Thursday, January 8, thru Saturday, January 10. The matches are being played at Cub Stadium.
