EIGHT YEAR OLD DROWNS IN LAKE CONROE

  

An eight-year old boy is dead after drowning Sunday afternoon at Lake Conroe.

Officials say the child fell off the dock into the lake at the Piney Shores Resort in Conroe, just after two Sunday afternoon.

Witnesses pulled the boy out, but say he was not responsive.

The boy was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston where he died a short time later.

The boy’s name has not been released.
