INDEPENDENCE AND WASHINGTON ON THE BRAZOS CELEBRATE THE FOURTH
Independence celebrated our national independence, Friday.
The 7th annual Independence Celebration kicked off with music from Steven Marshall and a trailride.
The annual parade got underway at 5:00.
Mark Rosenbaum of Independence says they will have music and plenty of food, as well.
Steve Marshall provided music Friday afternoon, while Earlywine performed for a Friday night street dance.
Washington On the Brazos State Park is hosting their annual Fireworks on the Fourth Celebration.
The Birthplace of Texas featured attractions everyone has come to expect, including period games and frozen treats from Blue Bell Creameries.
The Cody Bryan Band performed at the amphitheater at 7pm. .
And, as always, the park hosted their spectacular Fireworks on the Fourth, sponsored by HEB
