45TH ANNUAL COW-CALF CLINIC HAPPENING THIS FRIDAY
The 45th annual South Central Texas Cow-Calf Clinic will take place in Brenham on Friday. 
The clinic will be held at the Washington County Fairgrounds Sales Facility. Tickets for the event are $20 and includes lunch. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with the program taking place from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Live cattle demonstrations, calving season recommendations, proper chute-side methods and other presentations are scheduled to take place during the event.
Two continuing education units will be offered: one integrated pest management and one general to Texas Department of Agriculture pesticide applicators license holders. Beef Quality Assurance credits will also be available for specific presentations.
Participants who register and attend the full day of programming can enter to win a free heifer, sponsored by the Washington County Beef and Forage Committee and Texas Farm Credit. Attendees must be present to win. KWHI will have live reports from the Cow-Calf Clinic with Craig Montana starting at 10 a.m. Friday.
