A Brenham High School Senior advanced to the TMEA Area Choir in auditions held on Tuesday in Houston.

Troy Freeman is a member of the Brenham High School Varsity Choir and the son of Jeff and Kara Freeman of Brenham.  He competed against tenors from all the Cy-Fair ISD 6A schools, Spring Branch ISD schools, and high schools of several surrounding communities. The audition included three prepared songs as well as sight reading.

Troy will compete in the fourth and final round of auditions January 7th at The Woodlands High School in hopes of earning a position in the prestigious TMEA All State Choir.
