BISD KICKS OFF NEW SCHOOL YEAR WITH MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER

  

Nationally known author, television personality, and public speaker Jonathan Sprinkles kicked off the school year at Brenham High School this (Tuesday) morning.  A large group of students, educators, and parents listened as Sprinkles focused on what it takes to be the best.  He pointed out that we are blessed in this country with the freedom to make choices, but we often fail to make a choice:

The football teams, volleyball teams and the High School band made up a large portion of the audience, so Sprinkles directed a lot of his presentation to them.  He pointed out that while many people want to be the best, few are willing to put forth the effort:

After the motivational talk, the attendees were treated to a pizza lunch in the cafeteria.  The first day of classes for Brenham students is next Monday, August 24th.
