At 1:19 Monday afternoon the Brenham Fire Department was called to the Blinn Library at 800 Blinn Boulevard for a reported car fire.  However, when firemen arrived they found that a car motor had just overheated.

And at 6:37 Monday evening firemen were dispatched to Brenham State Supported Living Center at 4001 State Highway 36 South for an automatic alarm.  When they arrived, firemen were advised by employees that a resident had activated the alarm and that there was no fire.
