BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR MARIJUANA POSSESSION
A Brenham man faces a marijuana possession charge after his arrest Friday night.
Officer Ashley Burns responded to Fireman’s Park in reference to someone smoking marijuana. She met with three men who denied any knowledge of the complaint.
Burns said she could smell the strong odor of marijuana, and after further discussion one of the men admitted to having marijuana in his possession.
19-year old Sidney Aeron Jernigan was arrested. He is charged with Possession of marijuana under 2 oz. in a drug free zone.
