BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED IN COLLEGE STATION THEFT
A Brenham man has been arrested in College Station, after being caught stealing tires and rims off of a truck.
On Tuesday morning, twenty-nine year old Rodney Tates was arrested after a short foot chase, after authorities say the truck’s owner called police early Tuesday, and when officers arrived in the 700 block of Brussels Drive, two men ran off.
The second man got away.
Tates remains in the Brazos County Jail on Wednesday night, charged with Theft and Evading Arrest, with bail set at $61,400.
