BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON D.W.I. CHARGE

  

A Brenham man is charged with Driving While Intoxicated after a traffic stop Saturday night.

47-year old Martin Perez was stopped by police Saturday evening.

Around 10 p.m., Officer Jose Perez was notified by off-duty Sgt. Seth Klehm of a possible intoxicated driver.

Klehm reported that he was following the vehicle on North Chappell Hill St., heading toward Highway 105.

Perez pulled the vehicle over on 105 near Kenjura Lane.

Officer Perez says he could smell the strong odor of alcohol on the driver, who was reportedly unsteady on his feet, and failed the field sobriety test.

Martin Perez was charged with Driving while Intoxicated.
