HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT IN BRENHAM
Cpl. Justin Schiller responded to the 1100 block of Thiel St on Tuesday, around 6:54pm, in reference to an auto/pedestrian accident.
The twenty-four year old victim said a white Dodge truck had been speeding through the area and her kids were outside playing.
She entered the roadway in an attempt to get the driver to slow down and was hit by the truck. The driver fled the scene of the accident in the truck, and is being sought by Brenham Police.
The victim was transported to Scott and White Hospital in Brenham.
The case is under investigation.

I wonder if it was one of the 3-5 loud trucks that speed up and down my road as well! I am curious as well as to the full description of the vehicle. The sheriffs need to do something about these boys! I have young children as do quite a few on my road. Also there are a lot of people who travel my road daily. We have called in on these boys numerous times, but it does no good!
I wonder if this is the same (loud diesel) truck that always speeds up and down my street. He creates a dangerous situation, especially when my son is on the curb checking the mail.
I’ll be curious to see if the description of the truck is the one I’m thinking of.
