BRENHAM REBELS TAKE TOURNEY TITLE
The Brenham Rebels basketball team, including a number of Brenham Cub players, went undefeated to win the championship of the Houston All-American Sports Qualifier tournament this past weekend in North Houston (Sat.) and Alvin (Sun.).
In five total games, the Rebels averaged 64 points per game, while holding their opponents to only 48 points per game.
The Rebels defeated teams from Houston, Missouri City, Beaumont and Baton Rouge, La. in route to the championship.
