BRENHAM RESIDENTS NAMED TO LCRA REGIONAL COUNCIL

  

Two Brenham residence have been named to the Lower Colorado River Authority’s Lower Basin Regional Council.

The appointees include Carol Muegge, who has served six years on the council, is communication and ministry coordinator of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Brenham.

Danny Goss, the other appointee, is a Brenham businessman and a member of the City Council.

Members of the LCRA’s four regional councils provide insight into local topics and share this information with the community to provide understanding of LCRA issues.

The councils meet several times a year to discuss LCRA regional matters related to the Authority’s mission to provide reliable, cost-effective electric, water and other valuable public services of value, and provide stewardship of the river and the basin’s natural resources

There are four councils with 120 people who hold positions in those councils. The appointees will service two year or four year terms beginning January 1.

There are two other Brenham residence who are currently on the council, including Clint Kolby of the Economic Development Foundation and Brenham Mayor Milton Tate, Jr.
