“BUBBA CAN COOK” SET FOR SEPTEMBER 9TH AND 10TH

  

The “Bubba Can Cook” cook-off is scheduled for September 9th and 10th at the Grimes County Expo Center. This will be the 10th annual celebration featuring great food, live music, and a karaoke contest.

The “Bubba Can Cook” is sanctioned by the International Bar-B-Que Cookers Association. The 2015 cook-off team payout totaled $15,924 last year. This year, 50 teams have already registered for the event. Organizers are asking anyone who is planning on cooking to pre-register by calling 936-825-8095.

All proceeds from the cook-off event go to support the youth and senior programs of Grimes County.
