BURLESON CO. RELAY FOR LIFE RAISES OVER $39,000
bulDirectors for the annual Burleson County Relay for Life report they raised over $39,000 for the American Cancer Society.
Ths year’s event was held May 13th at Davidson Creek Park in Caldwell.
The total includes over $1,000 from a silent auction.
Event organizers say some teams must still turn in money and some auction items must be paid for.
Last year’s Relay for Life in Burleson Co. raised over $56,000 – including over $2,000 for the silent auction.
Citizen’s State Bank was the leading business money-raiser at just over $15,000.
