BURTON OKTOBERFEST TODAY

  

It’s “Oktoberfest” time in Burton today (Saturday).

The Burton Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to downtown Burton for a day of live music, food and community vendors.  Oktoberfest runs from 9:00 ‘til 5:00 today (Saturday) on Burton’s downtown streets.  The Humane Society will hold Weenie Dog Races in the park at 10:00.  There will be children’s activities and special events at local businesses, and the Butterfly Garden will be dedicated at the Burton Railroad Depot.

The Burton Bridge Ministry is kicking off Octoberfest this (Saturday) morning with their first Fun Run, with proceeds benefiting a scholarship program for Burton High School.
