EARLY VOTING COMPLETES WITH A 16% TURNOUT
A total of 3,345 people cast their ballot during early voting the past 2 weeks.
On the final day, 714 people cast their ballot in the republican primary while 82 did so in the democratic primary; the highest totals for each party over the 2 week span. That brings the total to 2,921 in the republican races and 424 in the democratic races.
With a total of a 16% turnout in early voting, the turnout for this year was almost 1,000 more than in the 2014 early voting period.
Tuesday voting will take place from 7am to 7pm. KWHI will have live coverage of all results beginning at 7pm.
