CALDWELL COACH FIRED AFTER ALLEGATIONS OF INAPPROPRIATE RELATIONS

  

After allegations of “inappropriate relations” with a student, a Caldwell High School coach has been fired.

According to Superintendent Timothy Cuff, Shannon Outland was an assistant softball coach before her termination and currently multiple incidents are being investigated.

Cuff reported that since this incident, the district has been reviewing proper practices with its staff as well as the policy that if a teacher or coach sends a text to a student, they must also include the parent in the text conversation.

The investigation has since been handed over to the Burleson County Sheriff.
