CHAPPELL HILL HISTORICAL SOCIETY TO HOST “COWBOY” WILLIAMS DISPLAY

Once-again, the Chappell Hill Historical Society is hosting the V.T. “Cowboy” Williams exhibit.

The exhibit opens June 29th and runs until July 24th at the museum on Poplar Street in historic Chappell Hill.

Bob Davis, President of the Chappell Hill Historical Society, is encouraging all Washington County residents and visitors to stop by and explore the exhibit and the museum.

Davis says the exhibit features a new display, courtesy of the Star of the Republic Museum.

The museum will be open July 4th, showcasing the Cowboy exhibit with a live Chuck Wagon and indoor and outdoor demonstrations including Cowboy Bob, the Fun Roper throughout the afternoon immediately following the 4th of July parade.

There will also be a petting zoo, pony rides and live music by Front Porch featuring old country, German, Czech, Polish and Spanish folk music, spotlighting the culture of the late 19th early 20th century.
