EXTENSION HORTICULTURE COMMITTEE TOMATO AND PEPPER SALE BEGINS

  

The 2016 Washington County Horticulture Committee Tomato and Pepper Plant Sale begins today (Thursday). All have been grown by members of the Washington County Horticulture Committee.

This year will feature 14 varieties of tomatoes, 2 varieties of bell peppers, 4 varieties of jalapeños, and 3 varieties of eggplant, squash, and zucchini.

All proceeds from these sales will benefit the Extension Horticulture Committee’s scholarship fund. Scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors in Brenham and Burton who are pursuing a career in an agricultural related field.

Orders must be placed and paid for in full by Friday, March 11th and plant pickup will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd from 10am to 5:30pm at the Washington County Fairgrounds Sales facility building in Brenham
