FORMER SNOOK ISD AIDE ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED INAPPROPRIATE RELATIONSHIP WITH STUDENTS

A former Snook ISD Education Aide who had been under investigation for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with possibly more than one student, has been arrested, according to the Burleson County Sheriff’s Department.

Thirty two year old Deanna Kathryn Lara was arrested at her residence and charged with two counts of Improper Relationship with a Student. Her bond is set at $10,000 for each count.

The district says it found out last Friday about the allegations, and immediately turned over investigation to the sheriff’s department.

As of Thursday, she remains in the Burleson County Jail.

If convicted, the charge is a 2nd Degree Felony, punishable by two to twenty years in prison, and up to a $10,000 fine.

The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office and Precinct 2 Constable’s Office is continuing their investigation as to where and when the incidents occurred.

  1. She should be ohhhh so very shameful not just for the victims but also for her sweet babies at home and her husband! Above anything and everything, if you are a mother, then you ALWAYS think of your own and you look at others and protect others as if they were yours and how you would feel if this happened to yiurs. And she did not! But that just shows you the mental instability and demons living inside her selfish soul. God, please be with everyone she has hurt!
