In honor of the 125th. Anniversary of Friedens Church on October 12, 2015, members each month collect items for the food pantries in Brenham and Navasota with a goal of 125 pounds or items.

The July collection of 200 cans of canned meat was delivered to the two pantries this week.

The previous collections were 169 pounds of flour, 135 count cereal, 174 pounds of rice and 183 cans vegetables, 222 pounds of sugar and 189 packages of pasta.

Each month in 2015 Friedens Church holds a special food collection with August being dry beans.

  3. How wonderful!!! Congratulations to all those who made this “happen”! If we ALL contributed, think what we could do!!!!
