GAS PRICES UP ONE CENT THIS WEEK IN TEXAS

  

Retail gasoline prices in Texas and across the country are up this week.

The statewide gas price average in Texas is $2.10 for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel, according to the AAA Texas

That price is one cent more than last week and 59 cents more per gallon than last year.

El Paso has the most expensive gasoline in Texas this week at an average $2.15 per gallon. Drivers in Corpus Christi and San Antonio have the cheapest gasoline this week at $2.03 per gallon.

Many locations in Brenham still had regular unleaded at $1.99.

Nationwide gasoline prices rose 2 cents to average $2.28 per gallon.

AAA experts say gasoline prices have remained relatively steady during the past month due to a well-supplied crude oil market.
