HIGHWAY 290 NEAR GIDDINGS HAS BEEN REOPENED

  

Highway 290 near Giddings has been reopened after a "suspicious package" was found near Highway 290. The package was originally thought to be an explosive, but according to the Giddings Police Department, the package turned out to be nothing.
